Spiced pumpkin gratin in air fryer

Pumpkin is a common ingredient in many cuisines, especially during the fall season,and is used in many dishes, both first and second courses, but also desserts, precisely because of its unique and sweet flavor. The pumpkin, the undisputed protagonist of the dish, with its natural sweetness is combined with olive oil, fresh rosemary and sage, which, finely chopped, give an aromatic notethat diffuses during cooking. This dish is presented as a delicate and tasty autumn side dish that can satisfy even the most refined palates.

Preparation

Turn on the air fryer

Turn on the air fryer and preheat it to 180°C (350°F).

Wash the pumpkin

Wash the pumpkin and dry it well, cut it into slices about ½ cm or if you prefer into cubes about1.5cm, leaving the skin on as desired.

Season the pumpkin

In a bowl, add the salt, pepper, paprika and onion powder to the sliced pumpkin. The oilcan also be added with a spray dispenser.

Chop spices

Finely chop the rosemary and sage leaves, add the chopped mixture to the bowl with the pumpkin and mix well. Finally, scatter the breadcrumbs previously mixed with a drizzle of oil. The seasoning should be evenly distributed.

Bake the pumpkin

Spread the squash in the basket making sure it does not overlap for better baking. Bake at 180 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
