Fryed tofu in air fryer

Air-fried tofu will surprise with its rich flavor from marinating with soy and spices, and its crispy exterior and soft interior texture. This cooking method allows preparation without the use of oil, making the dish healthier and lighter, while maintaining the crispiness on the outside. Give your imagination free rein for pairings.

 

 

 

Preparation

Prepare the tofu

Dry the whole piece of tofu with paper towels on all sides and cut it into cubes of about 1cm, the perfect size for to get a crispy result. Place the diced tofu in a bowl and add the soy sauce, paprika,onion powder. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes, covering the bowl with foil

Add breadcrumbs

Drain the tofu from the marinade and turn it into the breadcrumbs on each side

Bake the tofu cubes

Place the well separated tofu cubes back into the basket of the air fryer and bake for 10minutes at 200°, turning them halfway through cooking

Serve the tofu cubes

Once well browned, season with salt and serve with sauces to taste. We chose to accompany it with red bell pepper strips and some tzatziki.
