In 1964 in the heart of Tuscany, Ariete was born, a company founded by the entrepreneur Gustavo Colombo and destined to revolutionize the panorama of small household appliances. History of the company
In the 1970s Ariete conquered the market with its first product, the manual gas lighter that later became an indispensable item in the kitchens of many Italian families.
In the 1980s, the brand specialized in products with boilers, and this is how other great successes arrived on the market: the indestructible Asso iron, the espresso machine with the innovative Thermocream patent and the Vaporì line, an entire range of products with a steam cleaning boiler, achieving a worldwide success that takes Ariete to 5 continents.
In 1995 the company was incorporated by the international Kenwood Appliances UK group and then acquired by the De'Longhi Group in 2001, continuing to grow and establish itself in the global market. Today, Ariete boasts a huge range of products for cooking, cleaning, coffee and personal care, always with a focus on innovation, design and functionality.
